Participation in a clinical trial is advantageous to both the patient and researcher. Clinical trials are conducted to test the safety or effectiveness of a device, drug, or therapy that is not available to the general public. Trials are conducted in a controlled environment, and participants receive attentive care from experts in the field.
At the College of Dentistry’s Craniofacial Clinical Research Center (CCRC), we encourage an open dialogue between researchers, subjects and the clinical research coordinator. See the links on this page to find answers to frequently asked questions, meet our research team, and find open clinical trials at the CCRC.
